As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc. Schedule: Fridays 0830-1830 & Saturdays 0830-1630 Location: N3T 2Z7 What's in it for you? Respond promptly to elevated voices, incidents, and potential security threats. Monitor CCTV, alarm panels, and other security systems for suspicious activity or concerns. Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols, including parking lots. Maintain a visible and alert presence to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity. Monitor and control access to secure areas and verify visitor identification. Identify and report security system issues, vulnerabilities, or malfunctions. Maintain accurate documentation and prepare detailed incident and activity reports. Respond appropriately to emergencies and work with law enforcement when required. Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid security license First aid certification required Strong report writing skills Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus Strong proficiency with technology Ability to stand and walk throughout shift This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization.
