About The Role
As a Test Equipment Engineer at NXP Semiconductors, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Hardware (Socket/Pogo pins/Change Kit) used for validating and characterizing our cutting-edge semiconductor products. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our devices. * Responsible of Final Test Hardware (Socket/Pogo pins/Change Kit) qualification and improvement. * Sustain OEE and drive improvement related to Hardware. * Maintain and order required spare parts to maintain a good preventive maintenance and avoid breakdowns. * Drive Hardware cost improvement projects. * Review hardware design and early engagement with NPI team to ensure sustainability * Collaborate with design, product, and manufacturing teams to define hardware requirements and ensure testability of new products. * Conduct root cause analysis of test failures related to hardware and implement corrective actions. * Document Hardware drawing, specifications, and results thoroughly. * Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in test technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate. * Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability aspects. * Actively involved in team's 5S activity and create a good working environment. * Other job as assign by supervisor/manager. * Final Test automation project Requirement: 1.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or related field. 2.Preferred working experience in Final Test semiconductor manufacturing. 3.Speedy, Multi-tasking, results-orientated and able to work in fast phase manufacturing environment. 4.Open-minded, willing to accept new challenges and overcome it with positive attitude. 5.Motivated team player with high level of ownership. <6.Able> to communicate with all levels of people. 7.Ability to read mechanical drawings, stack up analysis, and technical specifications. 8.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 9.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment More information about NXP in Malaysia... #LI-633a
