About The Role

To provide psychological counseling and mental health support services to university students, promote student well-being and mental health, and assist students in adapting to university life while overcoming psychological, social, and academic challenges, thereby supporting their academic achievement and personal development

Provide individual and group psychological counseling sessions for students. Assess students' psychological and behavioral conditions using approved professional methods and assessment tools. Develop appropriate counseling and treatment plans and monitor their implementation. Provide psychological support to students experiencing academic, social, family, or mental health challenges. Manage emergency and psychological crisis cases in accordance with approved policies and procedures. Refer cases requiring specialized intervention to appropriate medical or therapeutic providers in coordination with the relevant department. Design and deliver awareness programs and workshops on mental health promotion and the prevention of behavioral and psychological issues. Participate in planning and implementing campaigns and initiatives that promote quality of life and mental well-being across the university campus. Collaborate with colleges and academic departments to provide appropriate support for students with special psychological needs. Prepare periodic reports and statistical data related to counseling cases and psychological services provided. Maintain the confidentiality of student information and adhere to professional ethics and standards. Participate in relevant committees, student activities, and university events. Stay up to date with current professional practices and developments in counseling and mental health. Perform any other related duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Mental Health, or a related field from an accredited university. Professional licensure or certification in counseling or psychotherapy is preferred. Experience Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in psychological counseling or student support services, preferably within a higher education institution. Required Skills Strong individual and group counseling skills. Ability to manage crises and provide early psychological intervention. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong report writing and data analysis skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to professional confidentiality and ethical standards. Proficiency in relevant computer systems and software applications.
