About The Role
Job Summary: The MCVD Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of Modified Chemical Vapor Deposition (MCVD) equipment used in the manufacturing of optical fiber preforms. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality production through adherence to established procedures, process control, and continuous improvement practices. The candidate will need to be available to train on 1st or 2nd shift for 4 months before moving to 3rd shift.
