Consultancy for the development of IOM Community Based Protection Learning Note – Type B

This consultancy supports IOM’s efforts to strengthen and operationalize Community-Based Protection (CBP) programming by developing a Learning Note that captures lessons learned, best practices, and operational challenges from global CBP initiatives, with a particular focus on countries covered under the COMPASS and RDPP-NA programmes. Through a combination of desk reviews, stakeholder consultations, and key informant interviews, the assignment will document effective community-driven protection approaches that enhance migrant well-being, local ownership, and accountability. The final Learning Note will serve as a practical resource for IOM staff, partners, governments, and donors to improve the quality, consistency, and sustainability of CBP interventions across diverse migration and displacement contexts.
