We look to hire the best and then help you to become even better. We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our Laverton team. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound and kitting activities while leading and supporting a small team of approximately three Storepersons. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll help ensure the warehouse operates safely, efficiently and delivers a high standard of service to both internal and external customers. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Coordinate daily warehouse operations across inbound, outbound, kitting and dispatch activities to support customer delivery requirements Lead, coach and support a small team of approximately three Storepersons, fostering a safe, productive and collaborative work environment Assist with workforce planning, training and the coordination of daily activities to support smooth warehouse operations Monitor inventory accuracy, quality and warehouse processes while contributing ideas for continuous improvement Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with HSE policies, procedures and housekeeping standards

To be successful in this role you will need the following: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment, ideally in a leadership or coordinator role Experience leading and developing a small team while maintaining a strong focus on customer service Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and collaborate across multiple teams A current HR Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain one) and experience operating warehouse equipment The ability to learn new systems, with SAP or other warehouse management system experience highly regarded

Health and Safety Requirements: Ensure adherence to all relevant EPA & OH&S policies and procedures as appropriate to requirements. Ensure employees and safety representatives are consulted on any proposals or changes to the workplace, work practices, policies, or procedures that may affect the health and safety of employees. Ensure all visitors are inducted to the Branch Site. Ensure employees have adequate knowledge and skills to carry out their duties in a safe manner and, if necessary, provide competent supervision. Provide and reasonably maintain a safe working environment, systems of work, and plant/substances in a safe condition. Promote and enforce good housekeeping in line with 5S standards targets.
