The Rehabilitation PPS (Perspective Payment System) Coordinator is responsible for the overall comprehensive data collection of the patient as the foundation for planning and delivering care to the patient. The PPS Coordinator oversees the accuracy and the completion of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) and inputs data for electronic transmissions of this information to the government. Monitors and coordinates the interdisciplinary plan of care, intake, discharge planning, and continuing post–acute care needs of the patients assigned.
