The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients of all ages, including children, adults, elderly patients, and specialized groups such as liver transplant patients. The role involves working both in the hospital and in outpatient clinics (OPD). The Phlebotomist must ensure safe and accurate sample collection while checking that patients have the required insurance approvals, completed payments, and have followed the necessary preparations before blood collection
