Jr. Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Accounting Specialist to join our Accounting team in Turkey .

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, accounting processes, and reporting activities while contributing to the team’s efficiency and compliance with corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Accounting team in daily operations and month-end closing processes
• Record, reconcile, and monitor invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Ensure accuracy and proper classification of general ledger entries
• Assist in the collection and accounts receivable aging process
• Support the control and reconciliation of intercompany transactions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Turkish accounting regulations
• Assist in the preparation of VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory declarations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for audit purposes
• Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documentation
• Assist in updating internal accounting procedures and manuals
• Provide support for other administrative and finance-related tasks as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or new graduate in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Positive, proactive, and problem-solving attitude
• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems ( Oracle is a plus )
• Eagerness to learn and develop a career in Accounting
