About The Role
About Woven by Toyota
Woven by Toyota is enabling Toyota’s once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company. Inspired by a legacy of innovating for the benefit of others, our mission is to challenge the current state of mobility through human-centric innovation — expanding what “mobility” means and how it serves society.
Our work centers on four pillars: AD/ADAS, our autonomous driving and advanced driver assist technologies; Arene, our software development platform for software-defined vehicles; Woven City, a test course for mobility; and Cloud & AI, the digital infrastructure powering our collaborative foundation. Business-critical functions empower these teams to execute, and together, we’re working toward one bold goal: a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all.

TEAM
The Software Architecture’s mission is to derive the best software architecture for the customer, taking into account various AD/ADAS system requirements, preconditions, specifications, and constraints. We cover two types of architecture: an abstract logical architecture that provides guidelines for some AD/ADAS functions placement, and a physical architecture that takes hardware performance and constraints into account. The derived software architecture will satisfy the customer's requirements in terms of quality, cost, etc. to the greatest extent.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
As a software engineer, you will pursue a variety of architectural design tasks, from acquiring requirements, to building logical structures, and finally to determining functional placement taking into account various physical constraints. You are always learning and finding innovative solutions to build robust systems, and you are used to working with a variety of teams focused on the goal of making the best product for users. You’re passionate about helping to make the best automotive product possible.
