Assistant Team Manager - Families First (Non-Case Holding)

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Assistant Team Manager for its client's Families First (Non-Case Holding) Team at Spennymoor.

This is a non-case holding role, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker, Senior Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, or Assistant Team Manager looking to develop their leadership skills and move into a more supportive management-focused position.

What will your responsibilities be?

Supporting the Team Manager with the day-to-day operational management of the team

Quality assuring assessments, plans, and casework

Chairing team and professional meetings

Providing guidance, mentoring, and support to Social Workers

Assisting with the allocation of work across the team

Supporting performance management and practice improvement

Undertaking any additional tasks required to support the Team Manager and wider service

Qualifications & Experience

• To be successful in this role you must have,
• Social Work England registration

Qualified Social Worker

Strong knowledge of Children's Services and safeguarding practice

Experience supporting and developing practitioners

Previous management or supervisory experience is desirable but not essential
