US Solution Architect

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect with a strong enterprise background and deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a broad range of AWS services and a proven track record of delivering complex cloud-native applications. Experience in the U.S. Healthcare domain is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end cloud solutions using AWS for enterprise-grade applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Lead the design and development of solutions using services including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and Glue .
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
• Drive best practices in infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and automation.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, especially in relation to HIPAA, HITRUST and U.S. Healthcare data .
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve solution delivery and reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Physically located in the US and authorized to work (without sponsorship)
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture and enterprise solution design.
• Extensive experience with AWS , including hands-on expertise with the following services:
• EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, Cognito, OpenSearch, S3, Quicksight, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Glue .
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, and Node.js .
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, event-driven systems, microservices, and serverless computing.
• Strong understanding of security best practices in the cloud.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), preferably using CloudFormation or similar tools.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or Associate with significant enterprise experience).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead discussions and influence decisions at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in U.S. Healthcare IT systems or working with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
• Experience with data analytics tools and pipelines within AWS (e.g., Quicksight, Glue).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes (CI/CD, monitoring, containerization).
