About The Role

End-to-end ownership of optimizing customs clearance processes (import and export shipments) with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, automation, cost effectiveness, and sustainable scalability.
Analyze process and quality data, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions with Operations and IT.
Drive digitization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives: process reviews, audits, and operational performance monitoring.
Translate new customer and product requirements into efficient operational processes, systems, and ways of working.
Support onboarding of new customers and prepare customer-specific reports and analyses.
Support operational teams and Team Leads, develop colleagues, and ensure customs and Lufthansa Group compliance.

Vocational training (Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Customs Administration) or comparable qualifications plus at least three years of relevant professional experience.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret quality, process, and performance data.
Sound understanding of digitization and automation, with the ability to identify and implement opportunities for operational improvement.
Strong sense of ownership, hands-on approach, and the ability to drive initiatives from concept to successful implementation.
A proactive, customer-focused, and solution-oriented mindset, combined with pragmatic problem-solving and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, willingness to travel.
