About The Role
WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES?
The Global Controlling department (FS GC R) in Linz is seeking a qualified Controller to support global financial steering and contribute to a broad range of controlling activities for our international organization. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with global teams and gain valuable insights into corporate financial processes.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Cost center controlling, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting of the global cost centers
- Headquarter Controlling with the following tasks: monitoring and reporting of headquarter costs
- Determination and coordination of the allocation of global services to the entities
- Participation in the global corporate planning process in the reporting system (Tagetik)
- Analysis of the consolidated monthly and quarterly financial statements, plans, and budgets
- Preparation of various presentations for management, shareholders and other Primetals Technologies locations
- Close collaboration with other departments (e.g., Global Accounting, IT, Strategy, Taxes)
WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THIS JOB?
- Completed higher-level school with a focus on business administration and accounting, combined with professional experience in Controlling or a degree in Business Administration or Controlling
- Interest in IT tools
- Excellent use of the MS Office suite (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- SAP and Tagetik knowledge is an advantage
- Precise and analytical working style with a strong affinity for numbers
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
The minimum annual gross salary for this position under the collective agreement and assuming that all requirements are met is EUR 47.546,94 (E/00) or EUR 53.241,02 (F/00). This could rise considerably, depending on qualifications and experience. Our Pioneers at Heart receive ongoing training in a wide range of areas through the "Metals Academy".
