What You Will Be Doing
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the planning and delivery of water and wastewater projects across the US Virgin Islands.
- Collaborate effectively with civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls, structural, and CAD disciplines in the development of project plans and specifications.
- Provide engineering support during the procurement and execution of projects.
- Occasional fieldwork, such as site investigations and client meetings, as well as travel will be required.
- Interface with equipment suppliers to prepare materials and equipment specifications.
- Consistently managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Desire and ability to manage and mentor staff.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in either Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering is required; a Master of Science (MS) degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida and US Virgin Islands is required; or must be able to obtain within 6 months of hire date.
- Demonstrated regional and technical expertise in water and wastewater engineering.
- Strong verbal communication, computer proficiency, and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both in-person and virtual formats.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Demonstrated leadership of design teams in a project delivery environment.
