About The Role

As a Quality Engineer (m/w/d) for inspection planing in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you take responsibility for inspection planning, quality standards and the continuous improvement of processes in a demanding technical environment. The position is filled through employee leasing and offers a structured entry into a highly relevant quality role.

  • You define, create and release inspection specifications for quality assurance and ensure clear standards for daily use.
  • Control plans are developed and continuously optimized so that inspection processes remain effective and traceable.
  • Complex quality issues are analyzed systematically, including the identification of potential error sources with FMEA.
  • Multi-functional teams are coordinated to drive improvement projects and implement quality measures across interfaces.
  • Inspection strategies are reviewed and refined with a focus on process stability, efficiency and compliance.
  • Process descriptions are prepared and maintained to support consistent execution and alignment with internal standards.
  • Practical problem-solving methods such as 9S and SPC are used to support structured root-cause analysis and sustainable improvements.

VORAUSSSETZUNGEN

This role suits a technically minded profile with a structured working style and a strong interest in quality, inspection planning and process improvement. A solid foundation in engineering, manufacturing or quality-related topics is important, together with the ability to work independently and communicate clearly across different teams.

  • Completed technical qualification in engineering, technology, aerospace, mathematics or a comparable field at technician, specialist or higher level.
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering, quality management or quality assurance is an advantage, ideally with a focus on inspection processes.
  • Knowledge of FMEA and APQP is required for this position.
  • Practical experience with SPC is an advantage, especially for structured analysis and quality control.
  • Confident handling of MS Excel and SAP supports the daily work in planning, documentation and evaluation.
  • Working with Google Workspace and related digital collaboration tools is expected.
  • Very good German skills and strong English skills are needed for communication in an international environment.
  • Technical drawing reading is required, while programming knowledge in Python or SQL is a plus.
