MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Design complex and complete devices, assemblies, and components for commercial vehicles, agricultural, off-highway vehicles and other special applications; Clarify and define design requirements with customers through project descriptions and analysis of design expenditure. Perform quality assurance measures, tolerance calculations, and design FMEAs. Develop design solutions and create CAD models in CATIA V5, incorporating customer 3D data. Ensure accurate bill-of-materials information and manage data exchange and storage in databases. Develop design solutions considering functional, material, manufacturing, and mechanical aspects. Present and represent work results within the company, with suppliers, and with customers.
