Loader

DescriptionOur Loaders are responsible for wrapping and loading pallets onto our trailers using a pallet jack. Employees may work in the dry or cooler departments of our warehouse. Candidates must have excellent organizational skills to ensure pallets are loaded correctly.

Loaders make a flat hourly rate, plus a piece rate.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Wrap pallets according to standards to ensure proper transport
• Perform visual inspections of items to ensure orders are correct, undamaged, and ready for shipment
• Load pallets onto truck in correct order
• Operate equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
• Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
• Shift/Hours: 2nd shift Sunday-Thursday. Your shift time starts in the afternoon and will last until the work is done. You will have every Friday and Saturday off.

QualificationsSkills and Qualifications

• Basic math skills
• 10–12-hour shifts (overtime may be required based on workload)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in chilled areas when needed
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well on a team but be self-motivated and independent.
