The Family Assistant provides support and service to clients who have intellectual disabilities living in their natural home environment. This position consists of working 1:1 with an individual who has an intellectual disability in their own family home and community. Qualified persons will have own reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and a high school diploma.

Hours

Day Shift (Full-Time)

• Monday/Wednesday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Tuesday: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Thursday: 9:30 AM – 2:45 PM
• Friday: Rotating schedule of 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM and 2:45 PM – 7:00 PM.
• Availability on Wednesday and Thursday is a priority.

Evening Shift (Part-Time)

• Monday/Wednesday: 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Pay: $21.35/hr

Responsibilities

Provides support and service to clients living in the community in their natural home environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have own reliable transportation
