About The Role

DescriptionAre you a proven sales professional and leader with a stellar track record of driving revenue growth? We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager based in the greater Oklahoma City metropolitan area to scale our regional market presence, and mentor top-tier talent to achieve record-breaking results. You will build strong customer relationships, coach high-performing team members, and drive community growth within our market and the OKC metro.

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the bank’s overall sales strategy to drive sustainable growth across all lines of business. This role will foster a strong sales culture, establish performance standards, and implement processes and tools to measure and improve results. The Sales Manager is a hands-on leader who is actively involved in identifying and calling on prospective customers; and who works closely with executive leadership to ensure alignment of sales efforts across the organization.

Essential Functions

Sales Strategy & Leadership

  • Execute a comprehensive, bank-wide sales strategy aligned with the Bank’s strategic goals
  • Identify growth opportunities across all business lines including commercial, consumer, treasury management, and trust services
  • Lead initiatives to increase customer acquisition, retention, and wallet share
  • Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on sales performance and market opportunities
  • Responsible for consistently achieving and exceeding personal and team sales goals

Sales Culture Development

  • Promote a high-performance, relationship-driven sales culture throughout the bank
  • Collaborate with other leaders to establish clear expectations, accountability, and consistent sales behaviors across production teams
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and frontline staff to strengthen sales effectiveness
  • Champion a customer-centric approach that aligns sales efforts and the Bank’s culture
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff to achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets

Performance Management & Incentives

  • Monitor individual and team performance, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Unlock individual team potential by providing regular coaching and feedback to team members
  • Partner with HR and executive leadership on performance and compensation strategies

Reporting & Analytics

  • Establish and/or optimize standardized reporting processes to track sales activity, pipeline, and results
  • Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Deliver regular performance reports to executive leadership
  • Use experience and insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with executive leadership to ensure coordinated sales efforts throughout the bank
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across business lines to maximize customer relationships
  • Support product development and positioning based on market feedback and customer needs
  • Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal bank policies

CRM Management

Serve as a subject matter expert assisting with the optimization of the bank’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

Ensure consistent adoption and usage of the CRMs across all relevant teams

Leverage CRM data to manage pipelines, track customer interactions, and enhance relationship management

Provide training and support to staff to maximize CRM effectiveness

QualificationsPosition Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with a proven history of building and leading high-performing teams that consistently surpass revenue targets
  • Experience designing incentive compensation programs and performance metrics
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and multiple lines of business within banking
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

Other Requirements

  • Must reside in Oklahoma and pass a background and credit check
  • This is an in-person position, and it is critical to remain available to team members during business hours
  • Must be available to work outside of normal business hours
  • Will have regular local travel for meetings, training opportunities and bank events
