About The Role

Perform routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently. Ensure the hotel premises, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, are in good working order. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Support the implementation of the preventive maintenance schedule. Monitor energy usage and assist in energy conservation initiatives. Respond to emergencies such as power failures, equipment breakdowns, and safety hazards. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and servicing. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and policies. Assist in supervising maintenance staff or technicians, if required during shifts. Participate in shift rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Diploma or certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical field. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. Good knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency situations.
