We are creating the essential destination for our sports and we’re looking for people like you to help us!THE ROLE: Senior Financial Analyst - FP&AWe are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will partner closely with business units to manage budgets, drive financial performance, and deliver actionable insights. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments at all levels, including senior leadership. This position is based in Austin, TX, and has a hybrid work schedule. This role reports to the Senior Finance Manager.RESPONSIBILITIES:Partner with business units to develop, manage, and track budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goalsDevelop and maintain financial models to evaluate departmental performance, investment opportunities, and risk assessmentsPrepare and present financial reports, highlighting key insights and recommendations to both financial and non-financial stakeholdersAnalyze variances between actual and forecasted financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvementAssist in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-term strategic planningSupport senior leadership with financial insights to drive informed decision-makingBuild trusted relationships and work collaboratively with cross-departmental leaders and team membersProactively identify process improvements and data-driven opportunities to enhance financial reporting and analysisKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field2 - 4 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or a related analytical role, with a focus on budgeting and business partnershipProficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting techniquesStrong knowledge of financial reporting, GAAP, and corporate finance principlesProficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and experience working with financial planning tools (e.g., Anplan, Planful) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in complex datasetsExceptional communication skills, able to present complex financial data to stakeholders in a clear, actionable wayAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented environmentComfortable navigating disparate data to uncover insightsStrong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environmentOUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY:At FloSports, we are bonded by our passion for sports and our purpose to unite communities around experiences that finally give underserved sports the love they deserve.
