As an Environmental Technician, you are an important part of our environmental team. You will be monitoring landfills (gas/water), water and soil sampling, performing materials testing, and working on data evaluation and report preparation. Additional tasks included screening projects (desktop and field) for environmental concerns (wetlands, endangered species, stormwater, etc.) and preparing environmental permit applications.

What it takes

Bachelors or Associates degree in an Environmental science (e.g. water resources, natural resource management, soil resources, hydrology, geology, etc.)

Experience with the Microsoft Office suite

Experience with ESRI GIS (preferred)

40-hour HazWoper certification (preferred)

A valid driver's license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and walk at least a mile is required

Overnight travel is required
