Warehouse Supervisor -Rotterdam

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Performance Management

• Achieve warehouse performance objectives by establishing on-the-floor operation excellence and daily management methods.
• Define cost saving, productivity, and service level improvement opportunities; measure performance, analyse opportunities, improve and control performance.
• Constantly aim to reach the ultimate goal of outstanding customer satisfaction, speed up inbound-to-outbound cycle time, and eliminate errors.

Process & Policy Management

• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and outbound operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

Stakeholder Communication

• Communicate closely with internal and external warehouse customers; report to management and group internal stakeholders.

Team Building & People Management

• Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Requirements

Education

• Majors in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or related fields are preferred.

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse management; those with overseas warehouse management experience are preferred.

Language

• Fluent in English, able to communicate effectively with overseas customers and teams.

Skills

• Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software, with good data analysis and problem-solving skills.
