Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer

MTSI is looking for a talented Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be involved in leading or participating in analysis of future Missile Defense System (MDS) architectures and concepts, and modeling and simulation (M&S) tool development to support MDS architecture assessment.Job Responsibilities:Assess missile defense system capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities against current and future threats to develop potential architecture solutions that mitigate gaps and/or improve performanceAssist with the development of analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools utilizing the DoD High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems, assess analysis results, prepare analysis briefs/reports, and provide reviews of analysis products Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above to tailor tools to specific analysis plansRequired Qualifications:Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCIBachelor's Degree in a STEM Field with 7+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project.Solid understanding of the current MDS architecture and future conceptsExperience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architecturesExperience with MATLAB Desired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI ClearanceExperience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architecturesExperience with M&S and analysis of MDS architectures involving both directed and kinetic energy weapons and other future conceptsExperience with HPC Systems, Python, and Git is a plusExperience with BMD BenchmarkExperience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activitiesAbility to perform technology assessment & analysis and provide insight on the utility of potentially useful technologiesSpecialized MDS analysis experience in: threat characterization, trajectories, RF sensing/signatures, and/or EO/IR sensing/signaturesMBSE experience related to missile defense system architectures#LI-JJ1
