We’re looking for a passionate Veterinarian to join our growing team on either a

part-time or full-time basis

About Us

Burpengary Vet is a brand-new, purpose-built clinic with a friendly, supportive team environment. You’ll be joining a collaborative team of

5–6 veterinarians and 8 dedicated support staff

, including an experienced nursing team and a fantastic reception team who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care.

Our caseload is diverse, providing excellent opportunities to grow your skills across both medicine and surgery. We encourage our vets to develop their own special interests and are committed to supporting ongoing learning, mentorship, and professional development.

What Your Day Will Look Like

No two days are the same at Burpengary Vet. As part of our team, you’ll be involved in

• Managing a varied small animal caseload across medicine and surgery
• Performing consultations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Using advanced equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory facilities
• Providing preventative healthcare, including vaccinations, parasite control, and wellness checks
• Building strong relationships with clients through clear communication and education
• Collaborating with a skilled nursing team and experienced veterinary colleagues
• Managing emergency and critical care cases when required
• Maintaining high-quality clinical records and continuity of patient care

About You

We’re looking for a Veterinarian who

• Holds (or is eligible for) registration with the Queensland Veterinary Practitioners Board
• Has experience in small animal practice (ideally 4+ years, however we welcome vets at different stages of their career)
• Is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care
• Enjoys building trusted relationships with clients and their pets
• Works well as part of a supportive and collaborative team
