Join a team that plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability and customer satisfaction of products under TiVo brand. As a
Senior Software QA Engineer
, you will influence and shape the overall quality strategy, introduce AI‑assisted testing practices, and collaborate across all teams to support development of dynamically evolving systems enabling true Content First experience.
What you will get to do
Test Strategy Leadership
– define quality standards, drive best practices and support the team in advanced technical decisions
Advanced Test Case Development
– analyse complex requirements, define acceptance criteria, design comprehensive test scenarios
Test Execution
– perform manual scenarios and exploratory tests, validate complex integrations and document results
Defect Management
– identify, report, track and collaborate with development for efficient investigation and resolution
Documentation and Technical Knowledge
– elevate team’s awareness, competencies and skills through knowledge sharing
Continuous Improvement
– identify, suggest and implement improvements, innovations and AI‑supported optimisation ideas
Collaboration
- – work closely with software engineers, product engineers and other stakeholders regarding design approaches, both Xperi and Vestel, requirements and defects analysis
- AI‑Driven Quality Engineering
- – apply AI/ML to optimise test planning, regression scope, risk‑based prioritisation and intelligent test case generation
Who we are looking for
Main requirements for the role
Minimum
5 years of experience
in Software Testing
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies and practices in software development
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining test cases, test reports and defects
Knowledge of: JIRA / Confluence / Xray
- Very good spoken and written English (B2+)
- Strong initiative, ownership and willingness to mentor others
Nice to have
- ISTQB – Foundation Level / Advanced Level
- Knowledge of Digital TV standards: DVB / IPTV
- Knowledge of UNIX based systems
Knowledge of Testing Tools: Jenkins / Selenium
- Programming skills: Python
- Experience with ML/AI‑based predictive analytics or test optimisation
