Position Summary

Responsible for managing the technical portion of the utility interconnection process for North America utility scale solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage power plants, Data Centers, and other clean energy facilities typically to the integrated transmission system. Responsibilities

extend through multiple phases of the project development process, including siting, interconnection application, study process

management,

negotiation of

interconnection

agreements, grid integration,

construction,

and testing.

Education

&

Requirements

  • Proficiency in performing economic transmission planning using PROMOD
  • Prefer minimum of 5 years of high
  • voltage electrical system experience,
  • preferably with a utility, system
  • operator or independent power
  • producer (senior managers will be considered based on years of experience)
  • Experience with managing the
  • transmission interconnection process
  • for power plants (wind, solar or
  • data centers)
  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering background
  • Professional Engineer (Electrical) license preferred
