Purpose/Scope

• The individual selected for this position will
• be responsible for working in the field collecting and processing blood, extracting fat samples, swabbing birds, collecting water
• , collecting
• bacteria samples.

will require driving a company vehicle.

Person must be able to perform the following

• Must have experience in
• broiler positions.
• ·
• Must be willing to work all hours scheduled.
• ·
• Must be capable of performing simple math.
• ·

Must

• have good verbal and written communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

• ·
• Routinely collects and process blood,
• culture and tissue samples
• ·
• Complete necessary paperwork to
• submit samples to laboratory
• ·

Assist

• in placement of pullet flocks
• ·
• Collect blood, fat, and swabs for bird movements
• ·
• Collecting water samples and other routine sampling

Qualifications: (Required/Desired)

• ·
• Highly motivated
• ·
• Able to lift a minimum of
• 80 pounds
• ·
• Must have excellent driving record and current valid driver’s license
• ·
• Able to work in a hot, high humidity, dusty environment
• ·
• May be
• required to work abnormal hours
• ·
• Must be able to complete paperwork for laboratory submission of samples
• ·
• Must have positive attitude and be able to work well with others
• ·
• Excellent work,
• safety and attendance record
• ·
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Must
