• 💼 Position Overview

The

Director of Clinical Operations (RN)

• is responsible for overseeing all
• clinical services, staff performance, regulatory compliance, and patient care outcomes
• . This role partners closely with leadership to ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered hospice care.
• 🔑 Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and coordinate all
• clinical operations

and

• patient care services
• within hospice programs
• Lead and facilitate
• Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings
• to ensure effective care planning
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate
• RNs, LPNs, Hospice Aides (CHHA), Social Workers, and Clinical Staff

Ensure

• timely and accurate documentation
• in compliance with
• CMS, CHAP, and state regulations
• Monitor and maintain compliance with

Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs)

• and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with Compliance to develop and implement
• clinical education and training programs

Conduct

• facility visits
• to strengthen partnerships and support patient care delivery
• Oversee operational metrics including
• staffing, scheduling, payroll, mileage reimbursement, and supply costs

Drive

• quality improvement initiatives
• , patient satisfaction, and service recovery efforts
• 🎯 Qualifications

Active

Registered Nurse (RN) license – Pennsylvania

Minimum

2+ years hospice, home health, or palliative care experience

Minimum

• 1+ year of clinical leadership or supervisory experience
• (Clinical Manager, DON, Supervisor, etc.)

Strong knowledge of

• Hospice regulations (CMS, CHAP, Joint Commission preferred)
• End-of-life care, pain and symptom management
• Care planning, documentation compliance, and IDT processes

Experience with

• staff supervision, performance management, and team leadership
• Excellent skills in
• clinical decision-making, crisis intervention, and family communication
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
