Position Name : Head – Automation & Instrumental Experience : 10+ years Experience Grade : M5/M4 Qualification : BE/ B. Tech in Electronics & Instrumentation/ Automation Job Purpose : To ensure the availability of healthy condition of automation and control equipment at the lowest possible cost to meet production, productivity, and quality targets. Skills & Knowledge Required · Knowledge of Instrumentation & PLC systems, automation related to Blast Furnance · LV & MV Systems · Power distribution Network. Roles & Responsibilities Ensure environment, health and safety at workplace with zero harm, zero discharge and zero waste Ensuring safety, 5s, and inspection of compliance to Electrical. Focus on continuous improvement. Production loss in safe & effective manner, timely backup of logic & HMI. Planning and implementation of daily preventive maintenance, predictive and shutdown maintenance jobs of instruments for safe , efficient, reliable running of bf without any break down. Calibration of instruments, WH, weigh scale & maintain record. Ensure effective inter department & intra department co-ordination. Diagnose the faults in the equipments and shift end reports. Creating and implementing SOPs/SMPs.
