About The Role

In the appointment of Teaching Assistant, your general duties and responsibilities will be: demonstrating (helping students identify plant disease symptoms), marking assignments (including oral presentations), midterms and final exams, consulting (providing information) to students, invigilating midterm and final exams, and conferring with the course instructor as required. Your general location of work will be your graduate student office (for marking), Room 146 Arts for lectures and 2E45 Agriculture Bldg for the single lab offered in the course. You will report to Dr. H.R. Kutcher. Required Number of Hours : 50 hours during the academic term Duration of Employment : Fall term 2026 (September to December) Course Name, Abbreviation and Number: PLSC 335 Field Crop Disease Management Start and End Dates: September 1 – December 31 Qualifications (Skills and Abilities) Minimum of a <B.Sc>. degree or equivalent in Biological Sciences; teaching experience an asset but not critical. You must be registered in a graduate program.
