ESS Project Manager Officer - Spain

Your mission

¡Hola y bienvenido/a a Sungrow! We are excited to welcome an ESS Project Manager to our Energy Storage Business Sector in Spain. In this role, you will help deliver high-impact battery storage projects across Southern Europe and contribute directly to a more sustainable energy future.

Lead the end-to-end delivery of ESS projects, from purchase order through commissioning and final handover.

Build and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and mitigation actions.

Act as the main contact for customers, EPC partners, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate cross-functional colleagues in sales, engineering, logistics, service, finance, and quality to keep delivery on track.

Manage contract obligations, payment milestones, technical documentation, and project reporting.

Ensure projects meet agreed quality, safety, timeline, and customer-satisfaction standards.

Your profile

Sounds like your kind of challenge? To thrive in this role, you bring a structured, collaborative approach and enjoy turning complex renewable-energy projects into successful customer outcomes.

You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a comparable field.

You have at least three years of project-management experience in energy storage, renewables, electrical infrastructure, EPC, or related technical environments.

You understand ESS or BESS project delivery, including supply, logistics, commissioning, contractual requirements, and stakeholder coordination.

You are confident managing multiple priorities, budgets, schedules, risks, and project documentation in a fast-paced environment.

You bring strong communication, negotiation, customer-management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

You have Spanish, French, Italian, and English at C1 level, both written and spoken.

Project-management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM are a plus.

You are willing to travel within Spain, France, Italy, and other European project locations as needed.
