Tubing Senior Setter Operator

Watson-Marlow is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Setter Operator to join our Tubing Manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical manufacturing professional with extrusion experience who is ready to take on a key leadership role within a cleanroom production environment. Working closely with the Team Leader, you will help lead, motivate and develop a team responsible for manufacturing world-class tubing products that support critical applications across the globe. As a recognised technical expert within the department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and productivity, while ensuring customer delivery requirements are consistently achieved. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll be involved in everything from production planning and process optimisation to coaching colleagues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You'll act as a key point of contact within the cleanroom, providing guidance and direction to operators, supporting day-to-day decision making, and helping to create a positive and collaborative working environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring products are manufactured in accordance with established procedures, specifications and quality standards, while maintaining accurate production records and supporting compliance with cGMP and ISO quality requirements. Working alongside Facilities, TPM and wider operational teams, you'll help maximise equipment performance, reduce downtime and identify opportunities for improvement across the manufacturing process. We're looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent communication and people skills. You will have experience working within an extrusion manufacturing environment and be comfortable supporting, mentoring and developing others. You'll have a proactive, solution-focused approach, a strong commitment to health and safety, and the ability to perform effectively within a fast-paced production environment.
