Job Description

SimIS is seeking contractor SME support to provide technical and analytical support to Operational Test and Evaluation Force in the definition, conduct, and analysis of structured Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of US Navy Undersea Warfare systems. As the

Cyber Security Operational SME

, you will apply current knowledge of the Navy and multi-service missions, operations, logistics, management, and organizational responsibilities to plan and organize work tasks leading to the successful execution of test planning, collecting data, and performing reconstruction and analysis for complex test and evaluation projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

4 Year Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical engineering, Systems Engineering (technical), or Aeronautical engineering.

Minimum 2 years of DoD cybersecurity experience and 2 years' experience in Network Engineering, Programming (C/C++, python, Bash, etc.), Systems Test Engineering, Project Management, Penetration Testing.

Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoDM 8140.03 series, Cyberspace Workforce Qualification and Management Program and Directive 8140.01 Cyberspace Workforce Management.
  • Proficiency in decomposing complex computer systems/networking configurations in support of system exploitation analysis.
  • Ability to perform detail-oriented work quality assurance/quality control prior to delivery to the government.
  • Working knowledge of the OPTEVFOR Integrated Evaluation Framework.
  • DAWIA T&E Level I or equivalent certification is desirable.
