About The Role
The Role The Technical Solutions Specialist, Geotechnical Engineer at Seequent will enhance our customer service program by providing exceptional support throughout all stages of customer interaction, from pre-purchase evaluations to assisting experienced users. Based in Lima, Peru (following a hybrid schedule with core days in the office), you will leverage your high-level expertise in GeoStudio and PLAXIS, alongside other Seequent portfolio solutions, to provide technical support, training, and project assistance. Acting as a regional technical advocate, you will ensure customers maximize the value of our software, support local sales teams with product demonstrations, and provide critical feedback to our development teams to drive continuous improvement. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Provide comprehensive technical support and project assistance to customers during trial and post-purchase phases to ensure successful software implementation. Act as the regional technical advocate by supporting the local sales team with product demonstrations, understanding customer needs, and developing strategic implementation plans. Deliver training to new customers to integrate solutions into their workflows while mentoring the internal technical team to build their training confidence. Proactively engage with users through face-to-face conversations, telephone, and email to complete health checks and identify new sales or support opportunities. Collaborate with marketing to represent solutions regionally and provide continuous feedback to software development teams to enhance overall product functionality. Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: A university degree in Geological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related academic discipline. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience working in geological engineering or related technical fields. Advanced operational skills and proven industry experience using geotechnical software solutions, specifically Seequent's GeoStudio and PLAXIS. A strong understanding of how cultural differences can influence business relations across the regional market. Confident oral and written communication skills in English, combined with fluency in either Portuguese or Spanish. Additional Information : This is a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence in Lima from Tuesday to Thursday.
