Annual Salary: $52,217.89 +

Travel is EXTENSIVE. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree plus one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist;

OR

a Bachelors Degree plus two years experience as a Child Welfare Specialist;

OR

Three years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.

Job Responsibilities

Lead worker and mentor for a unit of Child Welfare Specialists within the Resource Family Partnerships (RFP) unit in Foster Care that assists prospective foster families and community partners to learn more about the certification process. May also serve as a backup supervisor.

Assists to locate placement and facilitate communication between other CW staff and contractor staff.

Assists contract agencies in the Foster Care referral and placement process.

Serves as team leader in staff meetings, provide on-going case consultation and advise and train lower level Child Welfare Specialists in case management and interpretation of policies and procedures.
