Job Summary

• We are looking for experienced
• Purchase / Procurement professionals
• from the
• Consumer Durables / Appliances / Manufacturing industry
• to manage end-to-end procurement activities, vendor development, sourcing, negotiation, cost optimization, and timely availability of materials.
• The ideal candidate should have strong experience in
• direct/indirect procurement, supplier management, cost negotiation, purchase planning, and coordination with internal stakeholders
• such as Production, Quality, Stores, Engineering, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end
• purchase and procurement activities
• for materials, components, and other requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, develop, and manage
• vendors/suppliers
• based on quality, cost, delivery, and capability.
• Source materials from existing and new suppliers as per business requirements.

Negotiate

• price, payment terms, lead time, MOQ, and commercial terms
• with suppliers.
• Release and manage

Purchase Orders (POs)

• and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to
• quality, delivery, pricing, and shortages
• .

Drive

• cost reduction, cost optimization, and value engineering
• initiatives wherever applicable.

Coordinate with

• Production, Planning, Quality, Stores, Engineering, Finance, and other departments
• for procurement requirements.
• Ensure availability of materials as per production schedules and business requirements.
• Maintain appropriate
• inventory levels
• and support procurement planning.
• Develop alternate sources and ensure
• supplier continuity and risk mitigation
• .
• Conduct regular supplier reviews and support
• vendor audits/development
• activities.
• Track market trends, raw material prices, and supplier capabilities.
• Maintain procurement-related MIS, reports, vendor records, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and processes.
• Support new product development / localization activities wherever required.
• Handle commercial discussions and resolve procurement-related escalations with suppliers.

Candidate Profile

• 2–10 years of relevant experience
• in Purchase / Procurement.
• Candidates from

Consumer Durables, Home Appliances, Electrical/Electronics, or Manufacturing

• backgrounds will be preferred.
• Candidates should have hands-on experience in
• vendor management, sourcing, negotiation, and procurement operations

Qualification

• Graduate / B.E./B.Tech / MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations or related field
