About The Role

Marine Spill Response Corporation is a not-for-profit, U.S. Coast Guard Classified Oil Spill Removal Organization. MSRC was formed in 1990 to offer oil spill response services and mitigate damage to the environment.

Due to the response ready nature of MSRC, we are currently looking for mariners interested in relief work. Whether you are interested in only a few days or a few weeks, we at times offer flexible short term assignments based on your personal availability.

QUALIFICATIONS

At the minimum all or deck candidates must posses valid USCG Mariner Credential with at least the following capacities

II/4- RFPNW

  • II/5 - Able Seafarer- Deck
  • VI/1 - Basic Safety Training
  • VI/2- Prof use of Survival Craft

Domestic Rating for Able Seaman and Lifeboatman

At the minimum all candidates for our Engine Department must possess a valid USCG Mariner Credential with at least the following capacities:

III/1- RFPEW

VI/1 - Basic Safety Training

Domestic Rating for QMED / Oiler

Valid USCG medical certificate (STCW) required

TWIC card

Candidate will need to be willing to travel and accept flexible work assignments.
