Own and Grow MAM’s Direct-to-Consumer Business

As Head of Direct-to-Consumer, you will take ownership of MAM’s DTC business and shape its next stage of development. You will combine commercial thinking, digital expertise and hands-on leadership to drive performance, improve the customer experience and build scalable capabilities for future growth for <mambaby.com> and beyond.

This role is ideal for someone who sees e-commerce not as a project but as an entrepreneurial venture with lot’s of room to shape and grow. This role reports to the Director E-commerce.

Your mission

Own and further develop MAM’s direct-to-consumer business with responsibility for commercial performance, profitability and sustainable growth

Drive growth with a strong focus on customer experience, profitability, cost discipline and long-term value creation

Translate business performance insights into clear priorities, actions and measurable outcomes

Improve the digital shopping experience, from onsite performance and customer journeys to conversion and checkout optimization

Establish a clear business steering rhythm with regular performance reviews and data-driven decision-making

Lead, prioritize and develop the DTC team in a hands-on and business-oriented way

Collaborate closely with Digital Marketing, Digital Operations, Product and Supply Chain teams to drive business performance

Use customer data and insights to strengthen personalization, retention and repeat purchase behavior

Build scalable processes, playbooks and capabilities that support sustainable growth

Support local market teams with DTC expertise, guidance and best practices

Your profile

University degree in Business, Economics or a related field

10+ years of experience in e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, digital commerce or related commercial environments

Proven experience managing digital business performance, ideally with P&L responsibility

Strong understanding of conversion optimization, customer experience, merchandising and retention

Solid knowledge of e-commerce economics, including revenue, costs, profitability and customer value

Experience leading teams in fast-moving and growth-oriented environments

Ability to translate data and insights into clear business decisions

Experienced in successfully aligning commercial, marketing, operations and product stakeholders around common priorities

Commercial mindset combined with hands-on execution and entrepreneurial thinking

Excellent English communication skills

Our Offer

You will take on a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of digital commerce, customer experience, commercial performance and international growth.

For this position, the collective agreement for employees in the plastics processing industry provides for a minimum monthly gross salary of EUR 4.135,07 based on full-time employment of 40 hours per week. The classification will be made upon submission of the relevant documentation in employment group IV, employment group year after 10 years.

Your actual salary will be discussed with you personally and will reflect your individual qualifications and experience. We do not settle for the minimum — and we are confident you do not either.
