Principal Test Engineer – RF Microwave R D Job Description: Setup, calibration and operation of microwave and millimeter-wave test systems in an IC design R D environment. Equipment purchase, maintenance, calibration and laboratory management. Roles and Responsibilities: Plan the efficient use of the measurement laboratory and equipment. Liaise with and advise design product engineers on test plans. Set up and calibrate measurement systems for R D testing. Assist with making measurements and processing test data. Assist with IC design troubleshooting. Manage annual equipment calibration schedules. Research and recommend new test equipment purchases. Note: This is a non-exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities. Other tasks will be assigned during the course of your employment.
