Maintenance & Repair Technician I

You will perform visual and physical tests on cylinders before filling to determine if retesting or repairs are necessary Conduct cylinder conversions including de-valving, valving, stripping, and valve repairs You are going to operate hydrostatic and ultrasonic cylinder testers to ensure cylinder safety and compliance Receive incoming new cylinders, valves, and maintenance supplies, maintaining accurate records You are expected to repair cylinder neck leaks and safety leaks, and inspect cylinders to identify and scrap defective units Paint cylinders and maintain cleanliness and light maintenance of the plant environment You will operate forklifts safely to support cylinder handling and logistics Use a respirator as required to ensure personal safety during operations
