Student Assistant for Student Support at an International University (gn*)

We are seeking for

To support the Student Services team, we are looking for a student assistant (gn*) at the earliest possible date. The workload is designed for approximately 20 hours per week, with a remuneration of 15 euros per hour.

Your Responsibilities

Be the

friendly face

of Student Services on site: provide personal consultation and support for (international) students at the Student Info Point.

Help students

navigate university life

: answer inquiries related to Student Affairs (e.g., housing queries; questions on public transportation, the schedule & examinations, on the semester abroad, etc.).

Foster community spirit

: organize and promote extracurricular events, from on-campus meetups and a yearly weekend trip to virtual meetings (evening & weekend work is required, depending on event schedules).

Handle

administrative tasks

: issue certificates, conduct research, and assist in daily operations.

Your qualifications

Currently enrolled at a state-recognized university.

Excellent English skills (written & spoken); German is a plus!

Friendly, service-oriented, motivated, and confident in interacting with diverse groups.

Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in your work approach.

Team player with a proactive and engaging attitude.

Availability at our KLU campus Hamburg (role requires physical presence).

Flexible availability: occasional evenings & weekends for events.
