Gemba Engineer

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supporting the production team in order to optimize the manufacturing processes (layouts for optimal shopfloor utilisation, organizing the production lines by definining Standard Work Instruction, follow up labour productivity, material flow, FIFO, stocks, changeover) based on Lean Workshops Design manufacturing cell and layout Maintain the electronic layout of the focus factory (production, office, social rooms, other facilities) Create capacity calculation and maintain capacity analysis related to machine/cell Maintains customer takt time calculation During the industrialization phase create a material, information flow design and value stream design Maintain the electronic documents Value Stream Plans (Initial, Actual, Future state) Coordinate projects related to value stream planning Create efficiency analysis Lead productivity improvements Performs meeting(s) (line visits) for his/her area of responsibility Identifies non-conformities from the standard defined processes Defines actions, due dates and responsibilities Monitors the status of action implementation Escalates in case of delays Create quick changeover (SMED) analysis Implement 5S principles in machine related topics Create and maintain SAP routing Give input and support creation of packaging concept for raw materials Lean cell elements procurements, management Create solutions for parts presentation and material handling from the lean cell elements YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Higher education 3-6 years relevant professional experience Knowledge of lean approach and LEAN tools SAP Knowledge Command of English language OUR OFFERING Marketable knowledge - based salary system Multiple bonus payouts Cafeteria Private healthcare Commuting subsidy : 100 % subsidy for the county pass Own company bus service from 15 settlements Camp and back - to - school support Discounted dining in the corporate dining room Corporate discount system : our colleagues can use discounts at many local service providers by showing their access card All you can move membership and sports facilities Schaeffler events : Family Day , Children 's Day , Santa Claus Celebration , Year - End Party Happy Friday - a monthly themed day with food and drink specialties
