Supermicro is seeking a stellar Sr. BIOS Engineer to develop, implement, plan, improve and manage the software application from inception to use. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in a team environment across multiple disciplines and making the requirements to rapidly deliver firmware solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: . Lead the defining, developing, testing, delivering, documenting and maintaining BIOS/UEFI for serve system . Provides UEFI expertise to project teams of server firmware design . Develop and maintain Legacy/UEFI BIOS source code. . Responsible for BIOS development of products and platforms . Provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and reduce failure rate . Co-operate closely with H/W, validating teams . Troubleshoot potential issues Qualifications: . B.S. degree or M.S. degree in CS or EE is preferred . 5+ years’ experience in BIOS / UEFI development is preferred . Strong programming skill in C/C++ and x86 assembly language . Experience of software system design tools . Using Git to manage source code
