People Specialist Luton / Milton Keynes, UK from January 2027 onwards At RATIONAL, people are at the centre of everything we do. As a People Specialist, you ensure a seamless and high-quality employee experience combining operational excellence with a continuous drive to improve how we work. You will be part of a wider EMEA People team, working closely with colleagues across countries while acting as a trusted partner to the local business. Your scope of responsibility You will assist to keep our People operations running smoothly while making them better every day: You support the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding You ensure accurate HR administration, contracts and data quality and time management You take ownership of payroll coordination (including P11D reporting) and travel expense processes (Concur) You support salary reviews, benefits administration and employee queries You ensure compliance with HR processes, guidelines and statutory requirements You contribute to HR projects and drive continuous process improvements You support training coordination development initiatives and succession planning Your professional profile You combine HR expertise with a hands-on, structured and solution-oriented approach: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a CIPD qualification Proven experience in Payroll and pension administration Very good Office 365 skills; good understanding of HR Systems such as SAP, Concur, SuccessFactors (or similar) Strong skills in operational HR execution along the employee life cycle Analytical, structured way of working as well and solution-oriented thinking High level of social competence and communication skills as well as a strong service orientation Confidence in working with HR data, KPIs and reporting Basic project management skills with the ability to deliver reliably Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and discretion with sensitive information Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with a pragmatic approach in an international environment What we offer A role where your work has visible impact: Ownership and variety from day one A collaborative, down-to-earth team locally and being part of the EMEA People Team Short decision paths and room to contribute ideas A modern working environment with flexibility What counts for us are your qualifications – regardless of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation/identity or social, ethnic, or religious backgrounds.
