About The Role
JOB REQUIREMENTS Sr Key work areas Responsibilities Projects Departmental representative for the allocated project. Responsible for carrying out all quality-related activities of project. QA activities Should understand QAP requirements and accordingly plan necessary inspection activities such as drawing review, raw material inspection, bought-out inspection, dimensional inspection of components, sub-assemblies, functional tests, document review, FATs, final inspection, and packing inspection. Coordinator between internal & external customers Should be responsible for communication between the project CFT. Also require communicating with TPIA/Customer, Vendors, and NABL Labs. Maintenance of documents of Elect Section Maintenance of document-repository for all the projects and efficient retrieval of the same. Knowledge of naval / global standards, naval policies and test procedures Should be aware of naval / global standards, naval policies and test procedures, related to Electrical / Electronics engineering. Product Qualification Conduct of QTs, as per Defence standards; and ensure qualification of products. Functional Tests & FATs To be able to carry out functional tests and FATs internally. After successful completion, to be offered to the TPIA/customer. Quality Management Systems (QMS) Conversant with NC management, RCA and CAPA, periodic calibration activities, customer complaints and internal audits pertaining to QMS (ISO/AS). Knowledge of Quality Tools (8D,7QC tools etc..). Analysis on Lessons Learnt (Elect Sect) “ Lessons Learnt” Repository : Things Gone Right (TGR); and Things Gone Wrong (TGW). Training Officer Training Officer of the Elect section. Review of electrical circuits Review of all the electrical circuits from QA perspective. Section SPOC for tendering Ensuring that inputs (time and manpower effort reqd by QA dept), required by the Mktg dept for tendering, are addressed in time. Departmental rep for integration of PLM and SAP Departmental rep for integration of PLM and SAP (overall understanding of PLM and SAP is required). Overall tracking and collation of QAPs Overall tracking and collation of Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), in consultation with all stake-holders, for the Electrical Section. R&D projects Assist in R&D projects. FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES: Strong in QA activities and understanding of QMS. Reasonably strong fundamentals of Electronics Design and Signal Processing. Excellent artefacts-craftsmanship; and communication skills. Attention to detail. High level of competency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Access. A team-player, who can coalesce different view points into one / few plan(s) of action. WORKING RELATIONSHIP Internal (within the organization) With respective departmental stakeholders. External (Outside the organization) Customers/Auditors/External Agencies DESIRED QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Minimum Qualification BE (Electronics Engineering) Required Certifications Auditor, IPC, Minimum years of experience 10 to 15 Years Industry preference Defence / Manufacturing (electronics / electronics design)
