Purpose This is a growing Team and various new opportunities on the Regulatory Accounting Team available. Developing professional role responsible for independently supporting regulatory accounting, FERC/NARUC reporting, rate-case support, and commission data-request activities. Owns assigned schedules, reconciliations, data-request responses, and workpaper packages from data extraction through review-ready completion with moderate supervision. #LI-Hybrid Accountabilities Prepare data and schedules for rate-case filings, regulatory data requests, and monthly, quarterly, or annual FERC/NARUC reporting with limited supervision. Extract actuals and reconcile data to regulatory schedules, filing templates, working papers, and source records. Prepare support for regulatory assets, liabilities, account mappings, cost allocations, pro forma adjustments, normalizations, and variance explanations. Maintain audit-ready working papers, request logs, data-source documentation, preparer/reviewer evidence, tie-outs, and control support. Draft financial data-request responses and coordinate review comments before final submission. Track status, due dates, owners, reviewers, confidentiality designations, approvals, and filing readiness. Resolve routine data issues, documentation gaps, mapping questions, and control concerns or escalate as needed. Contribute to standardization, automation, documentation consistency, and continuous improvement. Provide informal guidance to Level I analysts on templates, documentation, data extraction, and recurring process steps. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. Two or more years of relevant accounting, financial reporting, audit, regulatory reporting, utility accounting, or financial analysis experience. Working knowledge of US GAAP, financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and reporting processes. Ability to apply or develop knowledge of FERC/NARUC reporting, utility accounting concepts, and regulatory account structures. Strong Excel, reconciliation, workpaper, and data analysis skills. Experience using ERP or reporting systems; SAP preferred. Strong communication skills with Accounting, Regulatory Affairs, FP&A, Legal, Audit, and business stakeholders. Compensation Data Full base salary range $68,000.00- $95,000.00 per year*Liberty considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education, training and skills, and geographic location.
