Teamwork, curiosity and having fun are core values at ICEYE, and they are what make the impossible possible.About the RoleYou will build and electrically verify the RF and avionics subsystems that go into every ICEYE satellite.Working in our cleanroom production line, you take a kitted work order from the shelf, assemble the unit to controlled procedures, verify on the bench that it performs to specification, and hand a fully traceable, flight-ready subsystem to the satellite integration line.If you enjoy breadth, want to understand how a whole satellite goes together rather than one corner of it, and like the idea of genuinely owning every unit that leaves your bench, this is the role. You will work day to day alongside AIT Engineering, Quality and the Integration team.What You Will DoAssemble both avionics and RF subsystems to detailed, controlled work instructions, moving between product families as the production plan requiresPerform electrical verification of the units you build, using our verification toolbox, bench power supplies, multimeters and unit-specific test setupsCross-train across the full subsystem set and progress through our competence matrix towards independent sign-off on each unit typeRead and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings and parts lists to confirm correct build configurationCarry out peer visual inspection of assemblies and share findings constructively with your colleaguesIdentify non-conformances, raise clear and well-evidenced reports, and support engineering with fault-finding and root-cause investigationHandle connectors, coaxial assemblies and harnesses to the required torque, mating and cleanliness standardsMaintain full traceability by completing work orders, updating tickets, applying verification labelling and capturing photographic evidenceDeliver verified subsystems to the integration line to support the satellite production planWork consistently to cleanroom, ESD and FOD control standardsContribute to procedure improvements and continuous improvement initiativesWhat You Will BringRequiredBachelors & Masters in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or an equivalent technical field2+ years of experience in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly, integration, or hardware testConfident use of basic test equipment such as multimeters and bench power suppliesAbility to read, interpret and follow controlled documentation, including schematics and wiring diagramsStrong manual dexterity and attention to detail when handling precision, static-sensitive hardwareUnderstanding of ESD-safe working practicesWillingness to travel across Europe.Willingness to work across both avionics and RF hardware, and to keep learning new unit types as our satellites evolve.
