This is primarily a building role with a strong design sensibility — someone who can take a project from concept (or a designer's mockup, or a client's brand guidelines) to a polished, high-performing live <site.You>'ll own website creation, theme customization, and ongoing maintenance across a portfolio of sites built on WordPress and Webflow. Deep expertise in one of the two is a great starting point, with willingness to grow into the other. You'll work primarily within themes and visual editors rather than writing custom code from scratch, though comfort with HTML/CSS to fine-tune and troubleshoot is essential.This is an ideal role for a mid-level web developer/designer who takes pride in craft, builds with performance and SEO in mind, and can juggle both new builds and recurring maintenance across many sites. You'll join client calls and present your work, while account managers own the day-to-day relationships.RESPONSIBILITIESBuild new websites from scratch, from designer mockups, or from client brand guidelines on WordPress and/or WebflowCustomize themes, templates, and layouts to match brand and design directionOwn ongoing website maintenance, including updates, security, backups, performance optimization, bug fixes, content updates, and small feature additionsTranslate designs and brand guidelines into clean, responsive, high-quality websitesBuild with technical SEO and site performance in mind (page speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness)Manage and maintain multiple websites across Nexus clients and Foundry for Good brands simultaneouslyTroubleshoot and resolve site issues quickly and reliablyJoin client calls to present work, gather direction, and explain technical considerations clearlyCollaborate with designers, marketers, and account managers to deliver sites that meet client goals and quality standardsMaintain organized project files, documentation, and asset librariesSETUPThis is a work-from-home setupTarget of 42.5 billable hours per weekThis role follows a consistent daily rhythm that aligns with US Eastern business hours while giving you time for rest, personal tasks, and balance throughout your <day.Here>’s what a typical day looks like:Start your day with a 4.5-hour work block: 9:30am–2:00pm (PHT)Enjoy your afternoon free: 2:00pm–8:00pm (PHT)Finish your workday with another 4.5-hour block: 8:00pm–12:30am (PHT)Sleep/rest: 12:30am–9:30am (PHT)This structure offers a long midday break while supporting strong collaboration with US-based teams during their business hours.Work-from-home setupNote: All of these times would shift 1 hour later when the time difference switches to 13 hour differences from 12 hour differencesREQUIREMENTSBased in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term role3+ years of website development and design experienceExceptional English verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present work clearly to clientsStrong academic background with an outstanding General Weighted AverageDegree in Web Development, Design, Computer Science, Multimedia Arts, or a related fieldDeep expertise in WordPress or Webflow (expertise in both is a plus), with willingness to grow across bothStrong proficiency working within themes, templates, and visual editors (e.g., Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, or Webflow's designer)Solid HTML/CSS skills for customization and troubleshooting; JavaScript familiarity is a plusA strong portfolio demonstrating polished, responsive websitesGood design sense and the ability to translate mockups and brand guidelines into high-quality sitesAn understanding of technical SEO and site performance best practices (no need to be an SEO expert)Comfort with design tools such as Figma (for working from mockups and handoff) and Adobe Suite or Canva is a plusHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple builds and maintenance work across many sitesDetail-oriented, proactive, and reliable in resolving issuesComfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPrior experience in an agency or fast-paced environment is a strong plusORG OVERVIEWMeet the TeamWe currently have 100+ team members who live in the Philippines who have been fantastic team members and we’re excited to add new team members to this new role!There are a few traits unique to our business that individuals should consider before <applying.You> must love the idea of giving back to the community and nonprofits.
